Bullet’s Bunch

 

We are a group of swimmers and divers from the early ’70s that named ourselves Bullet’s Bunch after an assistant coach (unnamed) called us “Bullet’s bunch of bananas” for the way we were acting after or during a meet. Also most practices were a hoot! Hence the name Bullet’s Bunch…shortened for obvious reasons.

Bullet…Coach Glen Henry got his nickname while being a fast halfback at Chadron State during his college years.

We invite all UNI swimming and diving Alumni, Mens and Womens teams, to join our family here. Leave a comment or a short story about Bullet and your team when you can.

There is also a place to donate a little to Coach Henry’s Scholarship fund which benefits the Womens Swim team currently at UNI.
